While at ERI he worked at many different positions, from shipping manager to Director of Western Region and International Sales.

Max took over as President of Broadcast Connection in 2008.

JOHN GEORGE has more than 40 years of sales and technical experience in the broadcasting industry to make your project succeed.

EXPERIENCE:
John started in broadcasting while in high school, first as a disc jockey, moving later into programming, sales, engineering and station ownership. For over 25 years he has provided technical services to many South Carolina radio stations. For the past 15 years he worked in sales with Harris Corporation, Dielectric Communications and LBA Technology.

ACHIEVEMENTS:

• Upgraded WUSC-FM, the University of South Carolina’s student radio station, from analog to digital utilizing HD Radio and assisted several stations with their HD Radio upgrades.
• Spearheaded the development of South Carolina Broadcasters Association’s Alternative Broadcast Inspection Program.
• Chairman of the South Carolina Emergency Communications Committee that oversees the Emergency Alert System. Technical consultant for the South Carolina AMBER Alert Program.

KEN PERKINS is an RF equipment salesman with over 30 years of experience with transmitters, antennas and all equipment associated with both analog or HD radio.

ERIC WANDEL brings more than 18 years as a systems engineer for RF and communications systems for both commercial broadcasters and Department of Defense clients.

JOHN SHIDELER, former owner of Broadcast Connection, Inc, has spent his entire career in radio and broadcast engineering.

EXPERIENCE:

• After majoring in communications at Oklahoma State University, John embarked on all facets of the broadcast industry.
• starting as a disc jockey and later moving into engineering and overall management for several different owners.
• John built, from the ground up, several radio stations including a six-tower directional in Kansas City which included the RF engineering and studios.
• Later, as a professional pilot, he flew traffic reports in Kansas City and Denver.
• His next step in broadcasting included ownership of two stations in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Within six months of acquiring the stations, John took the No. 7 rated station out of a market of seven and moved it up to No. 1, where it remained for the five years he owned the station. At the same time, he oversaw management of another group of radio stations, including 12 stations in the Rocky Mountains.

PERSONAL: John lives in Bellvue, Colorado, and Mesa, Arizona, with his wife, Mary Jo. He and his wife like to escape to the beaches of Southern California.
